The self-leveling pedestal fir decking is a support allowing the installation of a wooden terrace on a ground showing a difference in level or irregularities in level. Unlike a classic pedestal, the self-leveling 85/115 mm is composed of a pedestal (here the 60/90 mm) and has a base in the form of a saucer clipped to the base of the stud called “self-leveling disc”. This disc allows you to create or compensate for up to 5% slope over 1 meter. An adjustment ring adjusts the height of the terrace plot to the millimeter. The pedestal head is designed to receive the joist and a tab located on the side allows it to be fixed to the stud using a few screws.

Resistance:

The decking self-leveling pedestal can support up to 1 ton of load. Robust and durable, it withstands temperature variations from -40°C to + 60°C, UV rays, frost as well as acidic and chemical products. The self-leveling wooden pedestal is compatible with installation near a swimming pool.

Note: the structure must never be made composite joist base, this cannot guarantee the solidity of the structure on pedestals.

The construction of a wooden terrace on self-leveling pedestals is one installation method at a time economical since it simplifies site preparation, is quick and easy to perform. Once the measurements taken and the location of your terrace ready to accommodate the structure, place the studs on the ground at a regular spacing of 70 cm. Adjust the size of the pedestals then place the joists on the pedestals and screw them on. Finish by attaching the coating boards.
