Adjustable pedestal 40/60 mm for paving

The slab pedestal is a support allowing the installation of a raised tiled terrace, ceramic or grating. The slab terrace pedestal is adjustable in height from 40 to 60 mm thanks to the red colored nut. The pedestal is composed of a head equipped with 4 lugs designed to hold the slabs in their place. The installation of a slab terrace on pedestals allows a considerable saving of time and is carried out without joints.

Resistance:

The paving pedestal can withstand loads of up to 1 ton. Robust, it supports without deterioration temperature variations from -40°C to + 60°C, UV rays, frost as well as acidic and chemical products. The slab pedestal for terrace is compatible with a installation near a swimming pool.

Made in France, the YEED slab pedestal is environmentally friendly. It is made from polypropylene, a recycled and recyclable material.

Installation guide

Use of the 40/60 mm paving pedestal:

The installation method on terrace pedestals is quick and easy to perform. The rules to follow for a good performance of the site on slab pedestals:

ensure that the reception surface of the future terrace is stable and loose
place 1 pedestal per angle for each tile (1 tile = 4 pedestals)
in case of very large slabs, put a 5th block in the center by breaking the fins
use a coating of at least 2 cm thickness.

The pedestals are placed directly on the ground without fixing. The fins on the head of the pedestal define a regular spacing of 3 mm between each slab allowing also good drainage.

Only a few steps are necessary to install a terrace on a slab pedestal:

arrange the pedestals on the ground according to the size of the tiles used
adjust the height of the pedestals using the nut
check that the installation is level
place the slabs on the pedestals.
