Specificity of the self-leveling pedestal for paving: compensates for up to 5% slope over 1 meter. This kind of pedestal is ideal for laying on ground with differences in level. It allows the installation of raised slab terraces. A 25 mm high self-leveling disc is clipped to the flange of the paving pedestal allowing automatic leveling. Practical, it saves time considerably on ground preparation. The pedestal is adjustable to the millimeter thanks to the red ring to obtain a final height between 175 and 285 mm.

Resistance:

The self-leveling slab pedestal withstands loads of up to 1 ton. Robust, it supports without deterioration temperature variations from -40°C to + 60°C, UV rays, frost as well as acidic and chemical products. The self-leveling pedestal for terrace is compatible with a installation near a swimming pool.

Manufacturing:

Using the self-leveling paving pedestal for terrace:

The self-leveling pedestal for slab is compatible with type coverings: tiles, porcelain stoneware or even slatted floors.

Note: installation on a pedestal is only compatible with 2 cm tiles thick.

The reception area of the future terrace must be stable and loose in order to guarantee the solidity of installation. To calculate the number of pedestals required, count 4 pedestals per slab (i.e. 1 for each angle) and up to 5 to consolidate the installation of large format slabs.

The installation of self-leveling pedestals for slabs is quick and easy:

  • arrange the pedestals on the ground according to the dimensions of your tiles
  • adjust the size of the studs according to the height to be caught
  • lay the slabs on the head of the pedestals
  • laterally close the terrace by making cutouts in the covering.

The finishes can be carried out using a slab plate and a covering support in order to hide the pedestals of the structure on the edge of the terrace.
